    Insert Cable

I’ve got a cramped pedal board and run a number of fx in stereo. The insert cable was perfect to run from my switcher/controller to the stereo fx. The low profile connectors helped me save valuable space on the board. I was impressed enough to go back and buy a dozen or so other cables to replace existing ones.

    Just What I Needed

I was looking for something low profile and good quality. So far so good! I bought 2 of these cables (TRS split-Y 18") to connect to a Strymon Timeline on my board from other pedals. The Timeline has another pedal right above it so I couldn't use straight 1/4 connections. I tried using some pancake connections but the ins/outs on the pedal are so close together (and the cables need to run side to side) that the pancakes weren't working out. Not really sure how I found these, (maybe just a Google search?) but I'm glad I did. The connections are quite a bit smaller than a typical pancake connector, and the cables are quite a bit more flexible. I haven't had any problem running them side to side or looping them through and around to other connections. And everything sounds as it should. There hasn't been any tone degradation or added noise so far. I don't, however, plan to be pushing and pulling these cables very often. I intend for them to stay connected and stationary on my board with an occasional rearrange. So I'll let someone else speak to their durability for a frequent push/pull situation. As for me, I'll be doing more business in the future.

    The Best Pedalboard Cables

These cables are exceptionally well made and extremely durable. After having tried several different flat cables, Tourgear has won my endorsement as the best.

My trs to ts cable works well. Looks like it was made well too.
